Hello, I’m Kath — the maker behind Bee Kind Designs. After retiring early from my nursing career when my husband and I moved to the Kent countryside, I found myself with the unexpected gift of time. Time to slow down, to breathe, and to reconnect with the quiet joy of creating with my hands.
What began as a small personal project soon grew into something much more meaningful. I’ve always loved fabric, colour and texture, and now I spend my days stitching one‑of‑a‑kind pieces from our home here in Kent. Every item is made slowly and thoughtfully — never rushed, never repeated — using traditional techniques that bring me a sense of calm and purpose.
Bee Kind Designs is simply an extension of me. It’s where my love of embroidery, quilting, knitting and slow stitching comes together to create practical keepsakes with a warm, comforting soul.
